Late March update

Finally some pictures and video to update you. Again we are almost finished with all the bathrooms, I guess when you consider we are remodeling a whole house, it's going ok.

Late March 2008

We out in Seattle and Portland with the kids for Spring break and did some skiing. We skied Mt. Hood and had powder every day. This was the kids 1st mountain experience and I think I can say it was at least everything they were expecting.

Sheila and I have been working on the bathrooms and there almost done. We almost got the wood floor down in the master bathroom when Sheila hit the power cord on the table saw! She's fine, just a little shocker(pun intended). The vanity is in the main bathroom and faucets in. We're very close to getting all the bathrooms wrapped up.

Early March and it's still below ZERO!!!

Sheila and I have been working on getting the bathrooms finished. Today we put the first coat of paint on in the Master bathroom. The main bathroom is all tiled and just need a little more grout work and finish the sheetrock. Yesterday we took out the Mirror, just over 7'. After the sheetrock is all taped we can install the vanity and faucets! Sheila has been stain cabinets to match the new vanity in the main bathroom. The downstairs bathroom needs just a few more things and a door, but were waiting on the doors for later.

Showing signs of progress, but still a lot left to go!

Hi Everyone, Sheila and I have been making progress, but I haven't been taking pictures of everything. We've been working on all the bathrooms, tiling and doing prep work for painting and other stuff. My guess is we will have all the bathrooms done or close to done by March 15th, and then start working on the main rooms building walls and sheetrocking. After that we should have somebody ready for doing the taping/ceiling repairs. Then we will be ready to install the floors. After writing all that, It looks like we will be easily the end of April or early May before we're ready to get it on the market.

Blayne's snow tube

I wanted to put this up for Blayne and anyone else who wants to see our undersnow sliding hill.

Kitchen remodel

The Kitchen is over half done. We have to finish the ceiling and floor and the kick board on the cabinets. We'll get the back splash finished and do crown moulding(sp?). Sheila found a great granite company, "Minnesota Custom Stoneworks" 651-777-7674. The install on the Granite took about 2 hours, partially because the Granite had to warm up for the epoxy to hold. Next were on to the main bathroom plumbing and setting the tub and Sheila will be grouting and then painting the main bathroom.

Overdue Update

For the last two weeks we have been fine tuning the Kitchen cabinets, finishing tiling in the master bathroom, and finished up the utility room. In essence the utility room is brand new! Now that it is finished we can move on to other rooms. We have video and pictures enroute, but I'm waiting for the Granite that goes in the kitchen Monday morning. That should really finish off the kitchen except for the flooring and ceiling. More soon to come......
